Cultivation goals:

This discipline is to cultivate senior professional talents with fully moral, physical and intellectual development for socialist modernization, who master fundamental theory and method of economics, investment, chrematistics and assessment, have basic skills of mathematics and computer application and possess knowledge and abilities for economic quantitive analysis, evaluation and decision in the area of investment project financing, enterprise financing, asset evaluation and financial management with sound foundation, high quality, creative spirit and practical ability.

After graduation, students could engage in economic evaluation and decision of investment project, construction cost estimation, asset evaluation, enterprise financing, financial investment analysis, property insurance, commercial bank operation management, real estate operation management and other jobs in related units, including governmental organs and their subordinate institutions, industry and traffic enterprises, controlling companies and their subordinate offices, engineering consulting companies, engineering design institutes, engineering construction units, construction entities, business enterprises, financial systems, insurance companies, real estate development and property management.

Cultivation demand:

Students of the major will acquire the following knowledge and ability by virtue of systematically learning and training:

1. Master basic principles of management and economics, as well as basic theory and knowledge of modern enterprise financial management.

2. Possess basic abilities of quantitive analysis and computer application.

3. Strong skills of mother language and foreign language expression, and basic abilities in interpersonal communication, and analyzing and solving many practical problems of enterprises.

4. Be familiar with principles, policies and rules covering financial management, money arrangement, investment, insurance and revenue of business enterprises.

5. Know the development trend of the discipline, as well as the theoretical development and application vision of related disciplines.

6. Master basic methods of literature retrieval and information survey, as well as the abilities for primary scientific research and practical work.
