Biography

【Personal Profile】

Jianxiong Zhang, male, born in Nov. 1979, is a professor and doctoral supervisor in Institute of System Engineering, Tianjin University. He received PHD in Management Science and Engineering from Tianjin University in 2006. His major research interests include dynamic supply chain management, complex system modeling and optimization. He has published more than 90 SCI/SSCI papers in international journals such as EJOR, JOTA, Omega, IJPE, IJPR, AOR, as well as IEEE Transactions., Neural Computation, Pattern Recognition, Biological Cybernetics, Nonlinear Dynamics, etc. Google Scholar showed that the total number of citations was 1188, and the H index was 20 (up to Aug. 2019). Currently, he is undertaking a National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) research project. He has directed and accomplished two NSFC research projects, a Ph.D. Programs Foundation for young researchers of Ministry of Education, and a Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Science Fund project. He also participated in one research project from the Cheung Kong scholars and innovation team development plan of the Ministry of Education and a NSFC program. He was awarded the title of “New Century Excellent Talents in University of Ministry of Education of China” in 2011 and “Peiyang distinguished young scholar” of Tianjin University in 2012. He is currently a reviewer of “Mathematical Reviews” and an associate editor of “Journal of Modelling in Management”. Professor Zhang visited College of Business, City University of Hong Kong in 2013 (Co-Advisor, Frank Chen) and School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas in 2014 (Co-Advisor, Suresh Sethi) as a visiting scholar.
