Biography

【Personal Profile】

BiographyPeng Liu is an associate professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering, College of Management and Economics, Tianjin University. He received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2009, and Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering (human factors direction) from Tsinghua University in 2014. He was was an Academic Visitor at the Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford, UK (2017.11-2018.11) and a short-term visiting student at the Department of Psychology,

George Mason University, USA (2013.08-2013.12). His research interests focus onhuman factors and ergonomics, engineering psychology, risk and safety, and socialpsychology. He was the first-author or corresponding-author of 22 journal papers, including 3 ESI highly-cited papers. His works have been published in Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied, Risk Analysis, Reliability Engineering and System Safety, Accident Analysis & Prevention, Transportation Research Part A, Transportation Research Part C, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Energy Policy, International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics, International Journal of HumanComputer Interaction, Disaster Prevention and Management, and Acta Aeronauticaet Astronautica Sinica. Now he is the principal investigator of one project in human reliability analysis granted by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and is also involved in three projects granted by NSFC. He is the editorial board member of two international journals of International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction and Theoretical Issues in Ergonomics Science.
