【Biography】

Minhao Gu is an associate professor and supervisor of master degree in the College of Management and Economics of Tianjin University. He received his Ph.D. in Management from the School of Management, Zhejiang University, and is a visiting scholar at Nanyang Technological University and North Carolina State University. He received his M.A. and B.S. degrees from the Department of Industrial Engineering and the Department of Thermal and Power Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2011 and 2009 respectively. His research interests include supply chain disruption and resilience, digital & intelligent technology and operations management. In the field of supply chain disruption and resilience, he focuses on the disruption of supply chain network under external shocks (e.g., natural disasters, extreme weather, geopolitics, etc.) and the recovery of supply chain operations based on resource and capacity reconfigurations; in the field of digital & intelligent technology and operations management, he focuses on the implementation of artificial intelligence and blockchain in different operation scenarios and the impact of technologies on operational innovation and performance.

As an editorial board member of IJPDLM and Supply Chain Management, he has published or accepted more than 20 academic papers in domestic and international mainstream journals such as IJOPM, IJPE, IJPR, Frontiers of Engineering Management Science and Technology, etc. He has presided over or participated in a number of youth program, general program and major program of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He presided over or participated in a number of education reform projects of Teaching Steering Committee of Logistics Management and Engineering, Tianjin and the Ministry of Education of PRC. He has also participated in a number of projects commissioned by companies and the establishment of intelligent supply chain standards.
