Since 2014, with the continuous attention and support of caring people such as Tong Yuan-ming, the Yunnan Fengyu Practice Team of TJU has been deeply rooted in the southwest for 10 consecutive years, injecting great strength into the realization of rural revitalization.
In the summer of 2023, to fulfill a ten-year promise, this team once again went to Fengyu Town, Dali, Yunnan Province and carried out summer social practice activities, creating a all-round assistance model that integrates education, industry, and culture. The team expanded the horizon of Fengyu students through growth training camps, created a panoramic map to build a cultural window for Fengyu's external promotion, conducted oral history research to protect intangible cultural heritage, and empowered rural revitalization with the power of youth.
From the coast of Bohai Sea to the source of Erhai Lake, with the continuous attention and support of Tong Yuan-ming and other kind-hearted individuals, this practical team has cultivated a total of 623 primary and secondary school students in Fengyu, distributed over 600 thousand yuan in scholarships to more than 400 teachers and students, supported more than 10 left-behind children to visit TJU, built 3 caring classrooms, tutored more than 10 local entrepreneurs, built the "Mao Yisheng Public Welfare Bridge", and conducted more than 10 ecological and cultural surveys.
After ten years of perseverance and dedication, "ShiGuangWeiYang · JinFengZhuiYu" has stood out among many teams, receiving high attention from the Eryuan County Party Committee, Eryuan County People's Government, Fengyu Town Party Committee, Fengyu Town People's Government, and School Youth League Committee. The practice team of "XunJiJingCai · XingHuoChangMing", in the way that the main practice team and the sub practice team complement each other, adheres to the characteristics of "One drives multiple, combination of point, line and plane", retrace the route of the Long March, traces the footsteps of General Secretary Xi Jin-ping, and recalls the formation and development process of the spiritual pedigree of the CPC people. Their footprints covered 21 provinces, 4 autonomous regions, and 4 municipalities directly under the central government in China.
