TJU MBA won the Golden Sandgull Award for the first time in the "Desert 12" Adventure!

From October 2 to 4, the 12th BYD Cup Asia-Pacific Business School Desert Adventure (hereafter called "Desert 12") officially opened in the Tengger Desert of Alashan, Inner Mongolia. Teams from 56 business schools in the Asia-Pacific region and over 3000 business school elites gathered to fight for honor.

After three days of fierce competition, the MBA "Desert 12" team of Tianjin University (hereafter called TJU) finally won the "Golden Sandgull Award", the highest honor of the competition. At the same time, they also achieved excellent results in 9th place in the Super A and 17th place in the MBA category, setting the best record since the TJU MBA competed in the Asia-Pacific Desert Adventure!

The MBA "Desert 12" team from TJU has 54 participants, with the largest scale in history, formed a Super A team for the first time, and all members successfully and safely completed the competition. They won the Golden Sandgull Award, and fulfilled their promise at the expedition ceremony.

At the same time, two contestants from TJU, Zhang Zhao and Min Min, served as the hosts of the organizing committee's celebration banquet, receiving unanimous praise from the organizing committee and other universities, showcasing the charm of MBA students from TJU.

With a 70 kilometer desert challenge in three days and a large temperature difference between day and night, the competition process was extremely difficult. They had to wake up around 4 am to prepare for the competition, also bore the scorching heat during the day. It was all their physical fitness and willpower that supported them to reach the finish line successfully.

MBA students from TJU make every effort to courageously pursue their dreams and honors.

Two members from Super A team, Dong Yue-cheng and Zhu Jun-jun, successfully completed a 3-day challenge of 99 kilometers and achieved a good result of 9th place in the Super A group.

During the competition, team A members suffered from injuries, bruised feet, and cramps, but each one gritted their teeth and persisted in charging forward against the clock for the same goal - the Golden Sandgull Award. Main force of the team, Cao Wei-ping, whose years of military life have laid a good physical foundation for him, took the lead in completing the first day's 26 kilometers and easily joked with everyone, "I can still go another 10 kilometers!"

As a strong support for Team A, Team B members not only have to finish the game themselves, but also lead the female Team A members to push for results. It is precisely these accumulated little details that that have enabled the entire team to achieve excellent results.

The members of Team C are responsible for logistic service, and are the hidden heroes and the foundation for the team to complete challenge. They need to serve a large team of 54 people, transporting materials, setting up tents, providing medical support, and so on. It is their hard work and thoughtful service that enables members from Team A and B win the final victory!
