TJU - CRCC Overseas Senior Management Training Course Successfully Opened

On October 9th, the Tianjin University (hereafter called TJU) - China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (hereafter called CRCC) overseas senior management training course held its opening ceremony at TJU. Zhao Yu-lin, executive director (general manager) of the party committee organization department (human resources department) of CRCC, Gao Peng, director of the training department of the party committee organization department (human resources department), Zhang Jun-yan, member of the standing committee of the party committee, director of the united front work department, and director of the Humanities and Social Sciences Department of TJU, Yang Bao-chen, vice dean of the College of Management and Economics (hereafter called CoME), and Lv Wen-xue, vice dean of the School of International Project Management (hereafter called IPM), attended the class opening, The ceremony was presided over by Wang Pei, vice dean of IPM.

On behalf of TJU, Zhang Jun-yan expresses gratitude to the leaders of CRCC for their continuous attention and support to the school, and sincerely welcomes the trainees who participated in this training. Zhang Jun-yan mentioned that the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out the need to accelerate the construction of a strong country in education, technology, and talent. As the first modern university in China, TJU has accumulated and inherited its "TJU Character" expressed with the mission of "building a strong country through education", the motto of "seeking truth from facts", the spirit of "precision in learning and strictness in teaching", the tradition of "patriotism and dedication", and the pursuit of "determination and innovation" as its core in 128 years. In recent years, the university has been focusing on the mission of "cultivating talent for the Party and the State", continuously improving its educational level, prioritizing moral education and talent cultivation, and systematically constructing an independent training system for top-notch innovative talents. Zhang Jun-yan introduced the historical evolution and disciplinary distribution of the TJU, CoME and IPM, also the progress and achievements in the field of "new engineering education" in recent years to the trainees. Zhang Jun-yan stated that TJU is willing to participate in the internationalization strategy of CRCC. Taking this overseas senior management training course as an opportunity, it will continue to deepen the collaborative education project between both the university and enterprise, deepen the integration of industry, education, and research

Zhao Yu-lin, on behalf of CRCC, expresses gratitude to TJU for its long-term support in talent cultivation and overseas business development for the company. Zhao Yu-lin mentioned that the party committee of CRCC attaches great importance to the training of leading cadres. This overseas senior management training course is of great need to strengthen the construction of overseas cadre teams in the new era, to the sustained and healthy development of enterprises, and to enhance the abilities of cadres themselves. Zhao Yu-lin pointed out that 2023 coincides with the tenth anniversary of the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, as well as the 75th anniversary of the founding of CRCC and the 40th anniversary of the military to industrial reform. He encouraged trainees to take this training as an opportunity to make new and greater contributions to building the most trusted world-class comprehensive construction industry group with more solid work and better achievements.
