The 2020 undergraduate Security Management Youth League Branch of the CoME of TJU has explored the "Branch+" construction mode in terms of paired co-construction, professional cultivation, and aesthetic education, innovated the forms and ways of Youth Day activities, and further combined the construction of the branch with the security management major to design the branch's IP image -- a little corn cob. They have fully leveraged their professional advantages in various branch activities and built the security management brand. This innovative approach to branch leadership has led the way and earned a first-place ranking in the country.

Branch Construction, with theory as the guidance
The branch has always adhered to the implementation of "three meetings, two systems, and one lesson" to regularly convene the branch's general meeting, standardize the collection of membership fees, membership management, and member referral processes.
Three meetings: The branch regularly convenes branch members' meetings and invites head teachers and ideological and political teachers to attend. At the same time, we regularly hold branch committee to summarize and prospect our work.
Two systems: The branch regulates the establishment of the member education evaluation system and the annual membership registration system, and ensures that all are open, transparent, fair, and impartial.
One lesson: The branch attaches great importance to ideological guidance and ideological and political education, has accumulated 8 theoretical learnings on important speeches such as "July 1st Speech", 1 book sharing session, and 3 online theme education activities. The completion rate of the Youth University Learning program has been 100% for 40 consecutive times for the branch members.
Cultivate Patriotic Emotions, with volunteerism as the guidance
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, members of the branch have actively responded to the branch's call to participate in various anti-pandemic voluntary services, including nucleic acid testing, canteen service, online tutoring for medical personnel's children, etc., The accumulated volunteer hours have reached 315 hours, making contributions to the pandemic prevention and control work. Meanwhile, our branch has launched a series of "No Lying, No Laziness, Growing Together" activities, guiding branch members to participate in sports activities actively, and strengthening our determination to fight against the pandemic. To further play the role of the branch in leading, organizing, and serving young people, and to provide guidance for fresh students, the branch has established a makeshift branch called "Together in the Fight Against the Pandemic" at the Ninghe isolation site. Members have organized a series of Youth Day activities under the theme "Fight Against the Pandemic - Together with Ninghe". Members are grateful for the support of the Ninghe District Government and the Command Center staff. The makeshift branch convened the committee meeting in a timely manner to fully understand the students' demands, and organized activities such as daily sports punch-in, pairing up younger students and older students for mutual assistance, etc., to help fresh students solve various problems during the isolation period. In addition, the branch has written a letter of appeal to all students in the isolated area, calling on everyone to follow various pandemic prevention and control measures and to maintain physical and mental health during the isolation period, to continue to play a role in guiding the students' thinking.
Comprehensive Development, with Five-Fold Education as the guidance
To fully utilize the function of sports in developing students' comprehensive abilities, the branch organized an autumn orienteering activity to improve physical fitness and enhance the cohesion of the branch through interesting sports. To promote aesthetic education and cultural development, the branch explored the "branch + aesthetic education construction" concept, integrating forms of aesthetic education such as dough figurine modeling, painting, and facial makeup into branch activities. Through unique events such as the Kitchen King Competition and the "A Century of Glory" giant painting, the branch discovered and created beauty, resulting in over 70 pieces of aesthetic works
Cultivate responsibility, with practice as the guidance
The branch focuses on the role of the Youth League as a fighting fort, exploring the "branch + youth responsibility cultivation" mode, and organizing the "Love the City Where I Study" series of activities. Branch Members visited the Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall to explore the historical changes and experience the enormous changes in urban planning. Members then went to the Juewu Society to feel the power of revolution and appreciate the magnificent journey of the past century. In response to the call from the university Youth League committee, branch members actively cleared the snow in front of the teaching building during the first snowfall of winter, embodying the responsibility and dedication of being a student at Tianjin University.
Build our brand, with profession as the guidance
The Security Management Youth League branch established the "branch + paired construction" mode, pairing up with Qu Kai, the deputy secretary of the Tianjin University Party Committee and secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, Li Ming, the head teacher, Zhang Yiqun, the counselor, and the fourth party branch of the 2020 master's students, to explore the "branch + professional learning in security management" mode. The branch organized the "I do practical things for teachers and students" series of activities, integrating professional learning in areas such as network security into youth day activities, enhancing the sense of participation and achievement of our members. Under the active leadership of our branch, members rooted themselves in professional knowledge and participated in various scientific research competitions, achieving a 100% participation rate.
Expand Our Presence, with Media as the guidance
Since its establishment, the Security Management Youth League branch has always taken serving, educating and leading the young people as the directional goal of the new media construction. The branch continuously explores and develops new platforms for publicity and has achieved significant successes in online branch construction, actively promoting the positive deeds of the Youth League branch on various platforms such as WeChat public accounts. The number of followers on the public account has reached over 120, demonstrating the branch's achievements in online construction. The work of security management has always been born from the Party, followed the Party, and prospered because of the Party. Branch members actively shoot videos related to the Party's security management, study the Party's security management history, and pass down the vital spirit of security management. Among them, "Little Corn's Growth" won the first prize in the Tianjin University Security Management Practice Works Collection Activity.
