Goldwind Talent Power Engineering Training Program (D345) has been launched and implemented in a complex and ever-changing external environment, internal strategy, and management requirements. Under the strategic goal of "Rebuilding a New Goldwind" in the group's "14th Five-Year Plan", Tianrun New Energy Investment Co.,Ltd. (hereafter called Tianrun New Energy) shoulders historical missions and new requirements. It puts forward a management guiding principle: "Increase scale, enhance turnover, improve efficiency, and safeguard bottom lines." The aim is to achieve a data-driven transformation of project-oriented organizations "from relay races to high-speed trains" and "from assembly lines to all-star teams."
Goldwind Sci & Tech Co.,Ltd. (hereafter called Goldwind) with the assistance of theoretical knowledge and typical cases from Tianjin University (hereafter called TJU), integrates and refines business topics, links theory with practice, integrates internal and external resources, and coordinates the design of overall training arrangements. The aim is to cultivate "mega" project managers who possess investment thinking, can undertake tasks from engineering development to delivery throughout the entire chain, and have the ability to manage the entire lifecycle. This effort supports the company's "large-scale, high-quality" sustainable development. The Talent Power Program (D345), a university-enterprise cooperation talent training program, lasted for one year and successfully concluded on June 2nd at Tianjin University (Weijin Road Campus).
Wu Gang, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Goldwind, Li Fei, Vice President of the Group and Chairman & General Manager of Tianrun New Energy, Zhu Xin-yu, General Manager of Human Resources and Administration Center of Tianrun New Energy, Sun Jian, Director of the Learning and Development Center of Goldwind, Yi Yang, Regional General Manager of Tianrun New Energy in Beijing-Tianjin-Shandong Area, Wang Tian-you, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of TJU, Mao Zhao-fang, Party Secretary of the College of Management and Economics (hereafter called CoME), and Lv Wen-xue, Associate Dean of the International School of Engineering Management, attended the graduation ceremony, which was presided over by Wang Pei, Executive Director of the EDP Center of the CoME and Associate Dean of the International School of Engineering Management.
Li Fei, Vice President of Goldwind and Chairman & General Manager of Tianrun New Energy, congratulated the 42 students on successfully completing their learning tasks, and expressed gratitude to TJU for its support of the Talent Power Project on behalf of the company. Li Fei pointed out that the Talent Power Program is highly customized. From the early-stage research, talent cultivation profiles, course and faculty arrangements, to program implementation planning, TJU has provided strong support and meticulous planning throughout the entire process. In his speech, Li Fei emphasized that this graduation marks a new beginning. The topics need to be continuously tracked and optimized, cross-departmental collaboration needs to be sustained, and business challenges need to be faced head-on. He hoped that everyone would maintain the motivation for learning and innovation, adopt an open mindset, engage in deep thinking, and apply what they have learned. He encouraged them to bring the knowledge, diligent attitude, and humble character learned from TJU into their future learning and work, becoming the spark for the organizational development and transformation of the company. In the process of organizational change direction guided by project management, he urged them to continue playing a team role and jointly create the future.
Wu Gang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Goldwind, expressed gratitude to TJU for its comprehensive and systematic support and cultivation during the most critical historical moment of Goldwind. He congratulated the trainees on their learning achievements. Wu Gang pointed out that in the current state of industry competition, only by promoting self-reform, improving efficiency, and continuous innovation can one break out of the dilemma of competition. As the leader of Goldwind's breakthrough in the industry, it is necessary for Tianrun New Energy to enhance broad-mindedness and vision, improve professional levels, and raise awareness of compliance and risk prevention using structural and systematic thinking to manage complex systems. At the same time, he emphasized that Goldwind employees should pay attention to etiquette, the way of a gentleman, and the doctrine of the mean. While gaining knowledge, they should also focus on shaping learning attitudes and characters. He stated that Goldwind will continue to collaborate closely with TJU in talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation, and other areas to support the realization of the "Rebuilding a New Goldwind" strategic goal for the 14th Five-Year Plan and promote the vigorous development of the new energy industry.
Wang Tian-you, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of TJU, expressed gratitude on behalf of the university to Goldwind for its long-term care, support, and assistance in the university's development. He congratulated the trainees who successfully completed all the learning content. Wang Tian-you pointed out that TJU attaches great importance to strategic cooperation with Goldwind Technology. Since October 2020, the CoME has signed a "Joint Construction of Industry-Academia-Research Base Cooperation Agreement" with Goldwind. Both sides have continuously deepened cooperation and vigorously promoted the collaborative education of university-enterprise. He emphasized that all the trainees are the backbone of Goldwind’s development and the main force of China's wind power industry. He encouraged everyone to regard the completion of this training program as a new beginning of "repackaging and setting off", facing the future, integrating thinking, breaking through oneself, and daring to innovate. They should use the ambition, spirit, vision, and ability of TJU to continuously meet greater challenges, deeply promote the collaborative education project between university and enterprise between Goldwind and TJU, deepen industry-academia-research cooperation, and contribute wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of China's wind power industry, accelerating the formation of new productive forces.
The leaders from both sides attending the graduation ceremony commended the outstanding students, groups, and research achievements of the Talent Power Engineering program. Vice President Wang Tian-you presented graduation certificates to the students.
The CoME and Goldwind engaged in exchanges and discussions regarding the establishment of a joint industry-academia-research base in October 2020. They jointly signed the "Cooperation Agreement for the Establishment of a Joint Industry-Academia-Research Base between Goldwind and CoME of TJU", continuously deepening their cooperation. In order to further implement the collaborative education and deepen industry-academia-research cooperation between the university and enterprise, they have successively completed the Goldwind International Engineering Project Management Talent Training Advanced Seminar and the Goldwind Hundred-Person Engineering Talent Training Program since 2021. This Talent Power Engineering Training Program (D345) encompasses theoretical training and practical exercises, integrating internal and external training resources, and has successfully completed all training arrangements. A total of 27 theoretical courses were organized, with the implementation of solutions and results for 6 group innovation projects and preliminary designs for the project planning of 3 full-lifecycle projects. Throughout the project implementation process, various activities such as sharing sessions with industry experts, research topic discussions, theme reviews, learning briefings, knowledge integration, and team building were interspersed to strengthen a culture of collaborative creation and connect classmates. Three business values and four talent management achievements were realized, and ongoing efforts will continue to deepen cooperation between both parties in terms of project optimization, business practices, talent pool utilization, and the creation of business value.
