From November 3rd to 5th, professor Du Hui-bin, dean of the College of Management and Economics (hereafter called CoME) at Tianjin University (hereafter called TJU), traveled to the SHU-UTS SILC Business School, Shanghai University, to complete the evaluation work for the school's AACSB re-accreditation on-site visit. Other members of the evaluation panel included professor Leng Ming-ming, dean of the Faculty of Business, Lingnan University, serving as the panel chair, and professor Wang Zhao-hua, dean of the School of Management and Management at Beijing Institute of Technology.

Professor Cheng Dan-hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai University, met with the evaluation panel, expressing gratitude for their hard work and indicating that Shanghai University will continue to support the development of the SILC Business School. He hoped that the school would seize the opportunity of AACSB re-accreditation to continuously improve, further enhance its educational standards, and strive to become a top-notch international business school.

The evaluation panel, benchmarking the AACSB standards and requirements, provided improvement directions and targeted suggestions for the SILC Business School, encouraging the school to continuously improve its educational conditions, quality, and standards driven by its mission and vision.

AACSB, standing for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, is the oldest, most comprehensive, and most stringent business school accreditation organization. Currently, about 6% of business schools worldwide have obtained this accreditation. In 2022, CoME obtained AACSB accreditation, becoming one of the few "985, 211, and Double First-Class" universities in China to simultaneously hold AMBA, AACSB, and CAMEA accreditations.

Professor Du Hui-bin's invitation to serve as an AACSB accreditation visit evaluator signifies international recognition of educational quality in CoME. This experience promotes institutional exchanges based on accreditation platforms and enhances the international influence of CoME.
