Biography

【Personal Profile】

My research focuses on sustainability challenges in coupled economic-environmental and social-environmental systems. I develop resilience models and metrics to assess how global resource networks, especially water, energy, food, and trade systems, withstand shocks and disturbances. My publications include peer-reviewed journal articles, reports, and policy papers on resilience, the Water-Energy-Food Nexus, resource trade networks, and global sustainability. I also have extensive experience linking academic research with policy and practice, including work with IIASA, UN-ESCAP, IPBES, and sustainability decision-makers.

I welcome inquiries from prospective PhD students and postdoctoral researchers interested in resilience, the Water-Energy-Food Nexus, resource trade networks, sustainability quantification, and coupled economic-environmental systems. Interested candidates may contact me by email with a brief research statement and CV.
