The goal of the program

We develop senior comprehensive talents who meet the needs of reforming and opening of our country and development and transformation of enterprises in 21st century, command theory and professional technology for logistics and supply chain management and possess noble morality, innovative spirit, broad and solid discipline theoretical foundation, and diligence in practice.

The graduates of the program could be able to engage in planning, design and related operation management, technical management, production management, quality management and practical work in social logistics, production logistics and other logistics systems in governmental organs, industrial parks of logistics, kinds of logistics enterprises, large trading companies, export and import agencies, logistics department of enterprises, management consultation companies and logistics information technology companies; or engage in scientific research, technological development, professional education and others in institutes of science and technology, colleges, public institutes, social organizations and other related to logistics.

Cultivation demand

Students of the discipline mainly learn basic theory, professional knowledge and practical operation technology of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, acquire basic training of finding, analyzing and solving practical problems in fields of logistics and supply chain management, and command the basic ability of development, design, analysis and optimization for logistics and supply chain system.

The graduates of the program should acquire the knowledge and ability as follows:

1. command basic theory and knowledge of logistics engineering and management discipline;

2. command analytical method and management technology of logistics system;

3. have basic ability of designing logistics and supply chain management system;

4. be familiar with guidance, policy and rule of our country related to national economic construction and enterprise management;

5. understand theoretical frontier, application prospect and developing status of logistics and supply chain management;

6. command basic methods of literature retrieval and information survey and possess essential ability of academic research and practical work.
