Biography

【Biography】

Zhongbin Wang is an Elite Professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Management and Economics, Tianjin University. He is a recipient of a national-level young talent award and was selected for the 8th Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). He has published more than 30 high-quality papers as first or corresponding author, including several in leading international journals in management science and engineering, such as MS, OR, ISR, MSOM, and POM. His research interests include stochastic operations research, queueing economics, and customer-driven service operations. He is the author of a monograph on queueing economics published by Springer. He has served as principal investigator on projects funded by the Young Scientists Fund (Categories B and C) and the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program and the Young Talent Program for Science and Technology Think Tanks of CAST; and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has also served as a key participant in an NSFC Major Research Plan and Key Program.
