On the morning of October 11th, the opening ceremony of the 44th session of Xinjiang cadre economic management training class of Tianjin University (TJU) was held in the Building No.25 of TJU. Li-xin Zhang, member of the Party Committee, assistant to the President and head of the United Front Work Department of TJU, Shou-feng Ma, CPC Party Chief of CoME (College of Management and Economics), Wen-li Zhang, Director of the Office of the Security Committee of TJU, Deputy Executive CPC Party Chief and Deputy Director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee, Hong-chun Yin, Director of the High-end Training Office attended the ceremony. The ceremony was held by Zhao-fang Mao who is the Deputy Director of CoME.
Shou-feng Ma gave a welcoming speech. He extended a warm welcome to the Xinjiang cadres participated in the training on behalf of CoME. Ma put forward three hopes for the trainees, the first one is to combine the theme education of "Never forget the original intention, keep the mission in mind" to strengthen political learning, play the role of battle fort; the second one is to correct learning attitude, and complete the identity change as soon as possible; the last one is to pay attention to study method, combine theory with practice, learn to apply knowledge to improve ability, and contribute greater force for the construction of the Party and country, and development of the local economy.
Xin-feng Tong spoke on behalf of the whole trainees. He mentioned that he felt honored to be selected to study in TJU by the organization and knew the opportunity was rare and the responsibility was heavy. He said he must take a correct attitude, change his role, be strict in discipline, carry out the requirements, establish the style of work and show personal stature. All trainees will study hard, improve their ability, and strive to achieve excellent results in this study with active attitude to complete the training task successfully.
Li-xin Zhang spoke at the opening ceremony. He introduced the long history of TJU and its outstanding contributions to the history of higher education in China. TJU adheres to the mission of invigorating the country through learning, the school motto of seeking truth from facts, patriotic tradition and the spirit of innovation and conscientious scholarship. He hoped the students inherit the TJU character, cherish the training opportunities and strive to become high-quality cadres who are loyal, clean and responsible to contribute to the development, national unity and social stability of Xinjiang.
