On the morning of April 19th, Wei-guo Tian, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Co.,LTD(CSCEC5B), visited Tianjin University (hereinafter refer to as TJU). Jia-jun Li, Party Secretary of TJU, and Bao-feng Huo, Dean of the CoME met the guests in the VIP room of the conference building of Weijin Road campus.
Jia-jun Li welcomed the visit of Wei-guo Tian and his delegation, and praised CSCEC5B for the cooperation in the employment of high-quality talents of TJU and innovative technologies. During the exchange, he briefly introduced the school's talent training, scientific research and other aspects, and carried out in-depth exchanges on the new layout of industry-university-research integration and school-enterprise cooperation in the field of engineering construction, so as to promote the overall improvement of the school's academic level and the quality and reputation of the enterprise in the field of engineering construction and create a new model of school-enterprise cooperation in various aspects.
Wei-guo Tian expressed his gratitude to TJU for its gracious reception. He said that CSCEC5B hopes to combine the research advantages and design resources of TJU with its own major construction projects as the main carrier, to develop the project and summarize the results of the construction project, to improve the future construction technology, and deepen the university-industry integration strategy. He hopes to cooperate with TJU in personnel training based on the advantages of TJU in management and engineering. CSCEC5B is willing to cooperate with TJU to co-host the 2019 Global Infrastructure Projects Forum, and actively promote the signing of the provincial school agreement between Hunan Province and TJU.
The two sides also discussed school-enterprise cooperation. The cooperation focuses on the subject research of major engineering projects, the cultivation of advanced talents, and the preparation for the Global Infrastructure Projects Forum in 2019. Both sides indicated that they will give full play to the resources and advantages of their platforms, conduct all-round layout in key technology research, management platform development and talent training in the field of engineering construction, and promote in-depth cooperation between industry, university and research institutes.
The leading members of the Office of Science and Technology , the Infrastructure Planning Office, the College of Distance Learning and Continuing Education, the School of Civil Engineering and the School of Architecture attended the discussion.
