“Students’ Science and Technology Excellence” Training Program of the College of Management and Economics launched

　　“Students’ Science and Technology Excellence” training program hosted by Students Science and Technology Association of the College of Management and Economics (CoME) was officially launched at 2:30 pm on April 12, 2013.Yin Hongchun (deputy secretary of Youth League Committee in TJU) and Zhang Lin (supervising teacher of the Association) attended the launching ceremony. Concerning science and technology activity and contest knowledge, they made a spectacular presentation for students, which was extremely rich in content.

　　Firstly, Zhang Lin systematically introduced science and technology activities in CoME from three aspects, including science and technology competitions, science and technology projects, and science popularizing activities. In her speech, Zhang Lin introduced the content and time of well-known science and technology competitions at home and abroad. She mentioned the principle of “With system construction as guarantee, Promoting work comprehensively”, emphasized the importance of science and technology competitions for students in their future development, provided students with a lot of information, and ignited students’ passion for science and technology activities.

　　Subsequently, Yin Hongchun explained in detail the writing skills of “Challenge Cup” business plan, covering introduction to Challenge Cup, framework and content of business plan, matters needing attention in the writing process, and a brief introduction to the technological innovation system of TJU’s Youth League Committee. Yin’s talk was developed out of questions, providing students with adequate room to think. His explanation was vivid, with ample examples, and humorous in language, so that students acquired knowledge and skills in very lively atmosphere.

　　In the ending interactive session, students participated actively by asking questions, such as how to lead a team to implement a project. This reflects students’ enthusiasm in science and technology activities. And the teachers made detailed replies one by one.

　　The smooth launching ceremony proves a good start of the “Science and Technology Excellence” training program. It also helps students develop a deeper understanding of and greater enthusiasm in science and technology activities. In the future training, the science and technology talents of CoME will surely put on eye-catching performances.
