Zhang Yongjie wins the 12th Tianjin Youth Science and Technology Award

  The 12th Tianjin Youth Science and Technology Award Ceremony was held on May 7, 2014. Zhang Yongjie, a young teacher from the College of Management and Economics, Tianjin University, wins this award for his academic excellences in agent-based computational finance, financial information processing, asset pricing, behavioral finance, financial risk management and so on. Senior offices from Tianjin Municipal Government attended the event.

  Zhang Yongjie, associate professor and doctoral tutor, is one of the earliest scholars undertaking agent-based computational finance research in China and also one of the best-renowned Chinese scholars in the international academia. Through study on the investor gains, he proposed the ideas and methods of dynamic rule of capital market, which was firstly applied in the research of “Friedman challenges”.

  Tianjin Youth Science and Technology Award, set up by Tianjin Municipal Government, is a major award in the areas of scientific research and talent cultivation. This award, selected once every two years, aims to cultivating world-leading youth leaders in academy and technology, and rewards youth talents who have made outstanding contributions to the socioeconomic development and scientific innovation of China and Tianjin.
