Henley Business School (University of Reading) Visits CoME

  On April 21, 2014, a delegation from Henley Business School of the University of Reading, headed by its Dean John Board, visited the College of Management and Economy, as a follow-up to Dean Zhang Wei’s visit to Henley in2014

  Dean Zhang Wei, together with two Associate Deans and representatives from related schools, met with the delegates. Dean Zhang expressed his willingness to cooperate with Henley Business School. Then Associate Dean He Zhen apprised the guests of CoME’s recent development, international partnership and possible cooperation with Henley. Dean John Board also showed great interest in those future collaborations, and went into the details of proposed joint research, student/faculty exchange, articulation programs, and so on.

  The delegation was also arranged to visit Tianjin Binhai New Area (TBNA) to have a picture of how TU supports and gets supported by Tianjin Municipality and TBNA. With more knowledge of local financial lease, logistics and shipping, Prof. Adrian Bell, Director of Center for Financial Research of Henley Business School, thought highly of the development and prospect of the financial industry in Tianjin.
