National Research Center for Intellectual Property Strategy Development Set up in TJU

　　On 11 March, 2014, the National Research Center for Intellectual Property Strategy Development wasinaugurated in the College of Management and Economics (CoME), Tianjin University.

　　Professor Shu Gequn, Vice President of Tianjin University, pointed out that in the context of national innovation-driven development strategy, the research center would be committed to in-depth studies and consultations and service to the nation, Tianjin Municipality and the University as a national think-tank.

　　Mr. Huang Qing, a department leader at State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO), expressed his wishes that TJU could unleash all its advantages in the fields of management and economics and achieve address featured, practical studies on IP strategy in line with national conditions and in the perspective of the nation and industries.

　　Commissioned and supported by SIPO, the Center is run by the School of Public Administration of CoME with necessary advice from Tianjin Intellectual Property Office.
