Dean Zhang Wei Elected Member of China National Education Supervisory Committee on Specialized Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration

　　A general election of the fifth China National Education Supervisory Committee on Specialized Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration was completed recently. Prof. Zhang Wei, Dean of CoME, is elected Member of the Committee.

　　During this election, China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee was renamed as China National Education Supervisory Committee on Specialized Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration. Director-GeneralWu Qidi, Department of Management Sciences of National Nature Science Foundation of China, is appointed Chairman of the Committee.

　　The Committee is the highest such supervision organization for MBA education in China. While MBA was the first specialized master degree program provided in the nation, China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee was the first expert committee on specialized postgraduate education and played a leading role in advancing MBA education nationwide. Tianjin University is among the first batch of universities to offer MBA and EMBA programs. The appointment of Dean Zhang Wei in the Committee proves the teaching excellence of CoME in specialized degree education and will surely improve the quality of MBA and EMBA programs in CoME.
