 Brief Introduction :

  Tianjin University is the oldest institution of higher education in the modern history of China. It was included in the list ofDouble First-Classuniversity project.

  College of Management and Economics (CoME) is a leading school of management and economics in China and all of its MBA, MPA and EMBA programs are the first batch in China. CoME has over 30 international partner schools, including Purdue University, University of Waterloo, and University of California, Davis etc.

  College of Management and Economics now invites applications for positions at the Outstanding Young Professor/Outstanding Young Associate Professor/Young Associate Professor/Postdoctoral Fellow across all Management Science and Engineering/Business Administration/Public Administration/Applied Economics related academic fields.

  Position and Responsibilities

  I.Outstanding Young Professor

  (a) Holding a high level of teaching and iconic results, the appointee should exhibit much of his abilities and experiences aligned with the talent standards with regard to excellence, high quality and surpassing performance. On the other hand, he should undertake the undergraduate and graduate lectures and other talent training as the backbone teachers, as well as carry on the subject of basic courses or professional core curriculums.

  (b) With an independent research track conforming to the development of discipline, the appointee, as academic mentor, should be able to lead his discipline to catch up or even surpass the internationally advanced level.

  (c) Having taken on a big role in aspects of discipline establishment, talent base establishment and recruitment, the appointee may also be able to impart his degree of expertise and wisdom into promoting to establish the deep collaborative links with those internationally famous university, as well as research institute.

  II. Outstanding Young Associate Professor

  (a) It is required that the appointee, in all matters related to the field of his discipline, should exhibit the superior professional experiences and achievement with regard to adherence to the teaching and lectures. As the backbone teachers in the training of talents such as undergraduate and graduate students, he would undertake the teaching work and at the same time, undertake the basic courses or the core courses.

  (b) Taking years of high-performing scientific research in line with what the trend of the discipline requires, the appointee¨s professional performance should be deemed prominent and also nationally and internationally acclaimed by peers.                                                                

  (c) Having taken on a big role in aspects of discipline establishment, talent base establishment and recruitment, he may also be able to impart his degree of expertise and wisdom into promoting to establish the collaborative links with those internationally famous university, as well as research institute.

  III. Young Associate Professor

  (a) With his research track aligned to what the development of the subject requires, it is imperative that the appointee have some academic achievements in its research fields, showing considerable academic potential.

  (b) The appointee should actively engage in the tasks related to the discipline building-up, and also typically arrange his time to take part in the high-level international academic conferences and other forms of international academic exchange in this field. Moreover, he should also be able to actively take on the tech-savvy projects in relation with the national, provincial or municipal level.

  IV. Postdoctoral Fellow

  (a) The appointee will need to have obtained a PhD degree overseas, and also apply for and finally be selected into the National Postdoctoral International Exchange Program through the platform of Tianjin University.

  (b) The appointee will need to have obtained a PhD degree at home, and also apply for and finally be selected into the National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talent through the platform of Tianjin University.

  (c) The appointee¨s job is mainly to be in terms of scientific research, with a proven track-record in line with what the school talent team, the superior discipline and the science and technology platform require.

  Management science and engineering: Information Management, Systems engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, Big Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence ,etc.

  Business management:Marketing, Applied Psychology,Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, Human Resources, Innovation and Entrepreneurship ,etc.

  Public management: Resources and Environmental Management, Administrative Management, Public Policy, Healthy Aging and Social Security, etc.

  Finance, accounting:Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting ,Corporate Governance ,etc.

  Applied Economics: financial engineering,digital finance and fintechfinancial engineering,,Banking and Financial Markets,empirical asset pricing,etc.
